I want to know everything about cameras. Any tips on ANYTHING? i really want to be a wildlife photographer. :(?

If you're college age or younger, most areas have workshops available. Check the schools in your area, most offer photography as a major. Then, go for it. Never stop experimenting and learning the craft. Also do some research on animals. Go to the zoo and pick the brains of the trainers and handlers. Read! Read! Read! Research is the key.I want to know everything about cameras. Any tips on ANYTHING? i really want to be a wildlife photographer. :(?
It's not as simple as saying ';I want to be a wildlife photographer';.

Fine that you want it. But you have to really want it. Shooting birds in your back yard or at the local park doesn't count. It's a start. Like everything else, you have to start somewhere.

But a true wildlife photographer doesn't shoot common birds in his back yard (unless he is on a sick day). The photographer goes into the wild and photographs animals.

Explore state park, state forest, national parks, even zoos.

If you make your way out in the wild, you need to understand what you are about to photograph. Understand deer, bears, elk, wolves, herons, eagles, etc...

If you don't study them, then you will only scare them off and never get the shots you want. You can get lucky and get a couple of photos. But when you truely want to be a wildlife photographer, you need to take thousands just to make some money from a couple hundred photos.

Wildlife photography is expensive. You need a good camera, a big telephoto lens. The lenses will cost you thousands of dollars. You'll need a good sturdy tripod. Willing to carry your photography equipment into the wild and sit there waiting and waiting for the animal. Getting up early in the morning (before dawn) to travel to your destination to sit and wait for the animal to arrive for feeding to get your shot.

Wildlife photography is not about having a camera..point and click. It's so much more.I want to know everything about cameras. Any tips on ANYTHING? i really want to be a wildlife photographer. :(?
Well, it's a long story.

I was born in a small town, had more cats than people ... my parents didn't approve ... the fire station burned that year ... the end.

Buy a decent camera, use it.

Read the owners manual, use it to help you use your camera!.

Research, study and learn.
