Good places to see wildlife near toronto?

African Lion Safari is about 45 minutes south ot Toronto, just off the Queen Elizabeth highway. (Near Burlington, I think)Good places to see wildlife near toronto?
Well, if you are thinking of visiting a ZOO...or animals in general,

I would suggest the following:

-Toronto Zoo http://www.torontozoo.com/

-African Lion Safari http://www.lionsafari.com/

-Also, High Park, especially in the spring and summer is a good local smaller zoo where its free and you can walk through the park and view animals like Buffalo, and others. Its neat! Its free and its local. Also, high park attracts so many other animals and wildlife, especially swans and geese, and you can find some other animals as well. Its a great place to walk around and view wildlife in their natural habitat. Check it out: http://www.highpark.org/

-Bowmanville Zoo: http://www.bowmanvillezoo.com

-Also in the summer at the CNE there is an animal centre as well, where you can see farm animals.

You can also visit some areas where wildlife is visible, near rivers- humber river, centre island, high park, edwards gardens, and the don valley trail area.

I hope this helps!Good places to see wildlife near toronto?
