As someone mentioned, State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF) is an excellent school. I know, I go there! I'm a wildlife science major. This school has an excellent reputation and rating, it's affordable, being a public state school, and it's just awesome! There's lots of fieldwork, which is really cool. It has wildlife science and conservation biology, as well as several natural resources management programs. Check out their website:

UMass Amherst has natural resource studies, environmental science, plant and soil science, wildlife and fisheries conservation, etc etc. And its affordable!
UVM has a great program.
