What kind of camera would you use for taking wildlife pictures up close and far away , still and moving shots.

Consider starting with a film SLR of a make that also sells a digital SLR [DSLR] with the same lens mount. Several do. That way, you can start shooting now with modern equipment, and autofocus lenses, and accumulate lenses that you can use interchangeably when you decide to buy a DSLR.
