EDIT: to the guy below me , cobra, sorry but dude i think he's looking for something helpful for his homework. sorry ,. though yeah i too love orang utans they are so cute ;-)Wildlife conservation in southasia and success met?
As far as I know the whole of Asia is failing dismally in their efforts to conserve wildlife.

I know Malaysia is in SE Asia, but look at the pathetic attempts to save Orangutans there - de-forestation and factory-forest-farming for palm oil, out of control forest fires and people who still eat Orangutans, or kill the mothers when they are driven out of the forest so they can sell their babies.

Details change, but it is the same all over, and don't even get me started on China (I know it's not S Asia again, sorry) where you can go to an animal show and pay extra so you can watch a Tiger and Wolf put in the ring together. Or visit a ';factory'; where they harvest fluids from bears gall bladder's by strapping them on a table with a catheter inserted in their bodies for their entire lives.

Sorry to have got off the point.
