What is the impact of extinction of wildlife?

Nothing, due to the theory of convergent evolution another species will come in and replace its role and function. Countless species have gone extinct without consequence except making conservationists cry. What is the impact of extinction of wildlife?
Wild life is important but we need to adapt and to help them adapt. If we don't adapt we will die. What is the impact of extinction of wildlife?
Excellent Question!

Assuming all Wildlife gets extinct, MAN would become very arrogant(as if he is less arrogant now..) but in the end, he would face the results of ecological imbalance to the extreme....and would perish..
