Anyone do any work in Wildlife Conservation?

Im majoring in this and want to know what the future jobs may be? Do you enjoy it? and whats the pay like? any info is nice.Anyone do any work in Wildlife Conservation?
I volunteer for a wildlife rehabilitation center cause there's no money or jobs in it. I'm trying to figure out a way to make a career move and haven't figured it out yet. (i'm an RN with hungry mouths to feed and house to pay for.) My friend who is a reg vet tech as well as a bachelor's in zoology is a paid employee there. They had to fight to get her seasonal part time job approved for full time and I'm sure the pay is very low. (like $20,000) She also works no less than 60hrs a week in the summer. The other (cuz there's only 2) paid employee at our center has been doing this 20yrs and probably makes no more than $35,000. My old roommate also had a degree in wildlife management and again the job out look was very dim. I'm sorry i wish that my information on this was more positive. this is just my opinion but I think you can find a job it will not pay much and you may have to relocate. (i have no idea where you are but my friend is from chicago and had to move to california before here.) If you don't have many bills or debts or things to pay for, don't get them! It will be easier for you if you don't have to make a certain amount of money to survive! (that's my ole lady advice ;o)Anyone do any work in Wildlife Conservation?
