What's the best animal/wildlife?
It might not sound very exciting, but we get lovely birds in our garden - lots of bluetits, and robins, and a great big blackbird! I get a lot of pleasure watching them from our kitchen window!What's the best animal/wildlife?
1)Tis the strangest thing. First come some bird who brought me morning glory of so many different shade that just appeared out of nowhere.
2)Then hahaha Mr. Squirelly and a whole troupe of family and friends who would put on live wire acts for me and we would take turns laughing and barking and throwing nuts at each other.
3) Then the Cardinal came as all this other creatures... well haha tis dizzying as I can't tell which be more remarkable while this funny mocking bird I haven't seen yet but hear all the time singing and wala...
4) Then the summer when the rains come and so many odd little happenings as the water was shockingly unusually sweet one beautiful morn on the day the very ground was electrical and rich with slug and worm and pop pop went haha manhole covers flying in the air nearly killing people as they flying into trees and cars but thank god there was no reports of anyone being hurt. Oh but then omg... so many birds as I had never seen before as there was a carpet of them everywhere... scared me at first for I had never seen anything like it and they woundn't even scatter as they usually do. Was the strangest thing as in the sky well, was the same as below. I must got caught somehow during some kind of migrating thing but no... this was too unusual I swear. But there was this single one that came just before the rest arrived that I smell the ocean on his wings and not even 5 minutes after an ocean of white foamy birdfeather as far as the eye could see haha some hopping up and down my doorstep as if trying to get in. I was shocked.
5) Then the Dragon... The Dragon fly came and though I was able to catch both that and the Cardinal with my lens, well I am sorry I didn't have my camera that amazing Indian Summer when the birds were like an ocean's foamy froth on the very ground. Haha the man from Korea thought I was nuts as I went to him... OMG... DO YOU SEE THIS??? WTF? And he shocked me too cuz he was like, ya? so? haha Holy Makarena. I still in shock just to see such a site as that. But the Dragon fly ahaha I still laughing bout him. Well I think it was a him. I dunno.
quite a few other amazing, unbelievable treasures but I still be... well, in the oddest of states over it if you can imagine. wow. I still trying to catch my very breath back from those few alone.

a robin seems to have made his home there so that's the best, nice to see him hopping around in the morning.

Most wildlife biologist complete a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science, Wildlife Management, or something similar and then they do a master's in wildlife biology as well. There is one organization, The Wildlife Society (www.wildlife.org), that certifies people as wildlife biologists by a combination of course work and work experience.
Honestly though, to get a job as a wildlife biologist you should have a great academic record but even more importantly you need experience in the field. While in college it is very imporant to be active in the student chapter of The Wildlife Society, volunteer to help graduate students and professors out on their research, and intern or work part time if possible. The field is competitive and having the experience will help you land a job!

Why should we preserve our wildlife?
Biodiversity.
Biodiversity refers to the incredible variety of life found in our planet. In the book Biodiversity II, Edward O. Wilson defines biodiversity as: ';all hereditarily based variations at all levels of organization, from the genes within a single local population or species, to the species composing all or part of a local community, and finally to the communities themselves that compose the living parts of the multifarious ecosystems of the world.'; Life on earth is so diverse that we really have no idea how many species there are. Estimates range between 5 million and 30 million, but some biologists believe the figure may be as high as 100 million. Biodiversity is central to our existence. We derive much of the food we eat from species that were once wild, and we continue to rely on wild species to genetically improve domestic varieties of corn, tomatoes, and other food staples. We also use plants and animals found in natural ecosystems to develop new drugs for the treatment of various diseases. In addition, biodiversity provides us with many ammenities, such as bird-watching, ecotourism, fishing, and others. Despite the value of biodiversity to humans, we are currently destroying natural ecosystems at such a rate that many biologists fear that in a few decades we will cause an unprecedented number of extinctions. We are so far from cataloguing the diversity of life on Earth that an unknown number of animals and plants will become extinct and we'll never know what we lost. This is especially true of tropical forests and coral reefs, which we are losing particularly fast. These ecosystems are mostly in developing countries, which face many important challenges related to high debt burdens, poverty, social inequality, and population growth. Despite the grim outlook in some areas, there are many ongoing efforts to help preserve our natural heritage. is there any wildlife besides the wolf and skunk? I here there is some near one of the cabins in the forest on the bon voyage add on..Sims 2 is there any wildlife?

As far as I know the whole of Asia is failing dismally in their efforts to conserve wildlife.
I know Malaysia is in SE Asia, but look at the pathetic attempts to save Orangutans there - de-forestation and factory-forest-farming for palm oil, out of control forest fires and people who still eat Orangutans, or kill the mothers when they are driven out of the forest so they can sell their babies.
Details change, but it is the same all over, and don't even get me started on China (I know it's not S Asia again, sorry) where you can go to an animal show and pay extra so you can watch a Tiger and Wolf put in the ring together. Or visit a ';factory'; where they harvest fluids from bears gall bladder's by strapping them on a table with a catheter inserted in their bodies for their entire lives.

I had heard in one of Steve's obituaries that Bindi, (Steve's daughter) was going to be doing a wildlife show starting January. Does anyone know if that is still a go for production?
